SONAX confirms support for Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship together with Show & Shine competitions

Joining the Time Attack family this year is market leading car care product manufacturer SONAX, the German-based brand set to support the Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship and Show and Shine competitions at all of the season’s six tuning and performance car shows.

Founded in 1903, SONAX has gone on to become one of the world’s leading developers and producers of automotive care products, with the brand now represented in over 120 countries. In recent times, SONAX has become associated with a variety of motorsport programmes and is now embedded into the DNA of the classic car and tuning scenes.

Taking its portfolio of activities into account and looking to extend its presence in the UK aftermarket trade and retail sectors, SONAX has chosen to support this year’s Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship and the extremely popular Show and Shine competition at each of the spectacular shows that take place alongside the on-track action:

  • Modified Live – Cadwell Park: 1st May
  • Tunerfest South – Brands Hatch: 11th June
  • Tunerfest North: Oulton Park – 22nd July
  • Tunerfest Midlands – Donington Park – 20th August
  • Go Japan! – Brands Hatch: 24th September
  • Modified Live – Snetterton: 22nd October

Axel Hildebrand, Business Development Director for Anglo American Oil Company – the official UK distributor of SONAX products – is pleased to confirm this new and intriguing association:

“As a competitor in the Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship, I’m very familiar with the events we’ll be supporting and therefore can see the benefits of our involvement this year. The Drifting coupled with the shows always attracts huge crowds, many of which are proud owners of the cars they drive and as such, make up SONAX’s target audience.

“We are therefore looking forward to an exciting year ahead and working with the championship and show organisers to further raise the profile of the brand, highlight the performance of SONAX products and in doing so, increase its share of a market that is not only important but close to our hearts.”

In response, Time Attack director and rights holder of the Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship Andy Barnes said:

“We have a long-standing relationship with Anglo American Oil Company and I’m delighted this year we have the opportunity of working more closely together. I’m confident this increased association will help showcase the SONAX brand and its range of products in a way that wins over the hearts and minds of the 1000s of car enthusiasts and motorsport fans who stream in through the gates six times a year.
